ASEW-164 - Concrete Mixer, Laboratory Model, Motorised:

CONCRETE Mixer PAN Type Laboratory Model, Motorised:
Light weight Laboratory Concrete mixer is designed to remove the burdensome work of hand mixing Uniform, thoroughly mixed batches can be produced in the field or laboratory.

Mounted on a sturdy rubber tired stand. Drum is mounted for end discharge. Equipped with end towing pole. The efficient mixing of concrete is essential if quality specimens are to be manufactured. Pan type mixers are suitable for the mixing of small quantities of concrete in the laboratory for making test samples. The mixer is designed to give efficient mixing of both dry and wet materials.

The mixing pan is removable and tilts for easy access to the pan and emptying on completion of the mixing operation. The total volume of the pan is 100 litres but the effective capacity of the mixer is 56 litres. The mixer head lifts clear to provide maximum access to the pan and holds the mixing blades at a constant depth during the mixing operation. The blades can be adjusted to suit the different types and volume of materials to be mixed. All parts of the protected mixer are non-corrosive painted and galvanized. 220V, 50-60 Hz, 1 ph Dimensions: 950 x 1000 x 1200mm (W x L x H) Power: 3 HP. Weight (approx.): 245 kg
ASEW-166 - Needle Vibrator : ASTM C - 403
The laboratory Needle vibrator is used in vibrating concrete test cylinder and beams in the field or laboratory. It is also widely used in making laboratory specimens, in making concrete products, in experimental work, and in small scale construction projects. The vibrator is electrically driven and is easily controlled. The vibrating pin is 350 mm long and 25mm in dia. Flexible shaft is 1.5 mtr or 4 meter Long. Powered by a 1 H.P. electric motor. Operation on 230 Volts, 1 phase, 50 cycle, A.C. supply.

Needle Vibrator, same as per ASEW-166, but vibrating pin is 350 mm long and 40 mm dia.

ASEW-167A - Needle Vibrator, same as per ASEW-166, but vibrating pin is 350 mm long and 50mm dia with 4 meter long flexible shaft.
ASEW-168 - Needle Vibrator : ASTM C - 403

The laboratory Needle vibrator is used in vibrating concrete test cylinder and beams in the field or laboratory. It is also widely used in making laboratory specimens, in making concrete products, in experimental work, and in small scale construction projects. The vibrator is Engine driven and is easily controlled. The vibrating pin is 350 mm long and 25mm in dia. Flexible shaft is 1.5 mtr or 4 meter Long. Vibrating speed is approx. 10,000 rpm.

ASEW-170 - Cement Tensile testing machine,
Cement Tensile testing machine, motorized, Capacity 900 kg, BS : 12; IS : 269.

The sliding weight and the lever ratios have been so fixed that the load applied to the test briquette. The load is read directly from the scale engraved on the top lever, using the vernier attached to the sliding weight. Suitable for operation on 230 volts, single phase, 50 cycle, A.C. supply Complete with one base plate.
ASEW-171 - Brazilian Test Apparatus.
It is for conducting Brazilian test on 75mm dia x 25 mm thick samples and can be used for compression tests on 70.6 mm cement mortar cubes also. Comprises a hand operated hydraulic jack provided with self retracting piston fixed on the base of a load frame Loads are recorded on a pressure gauge 0-5 tonne x 25 kg and a maximum pointer is provided for the breaking load indication. Semi-cylindrical loading strips are provided for Brazilian test and two hardened and ground platens are provided for compression test.
ASEW-172 - Permeability Tests : IS :
Permeability Tests : IS : 1727; IS : 1645 : Consists of:
Specimen container ring of 100 mm diameter and50 mm high, held between a bottom plate and a water cell. The Water cell of 100 mm diameter brass cylinder and the top and bottom plates of brass or any other non-corroding metal. Each cell with collar is clamped in between a base plate and a top plate with the help of tension rods and nuts. The cell assembly is mounted on the stand. The top plate is provided with an inlet and air release vent and the base plate is provided with an outlet. Complete with a pressure chamber is fitted with a pressure, and a pressure gauge 0-10 kg/cm2 indicating the chamber pressure,

ASEW-173 - Permeability Testers, IS : 3085,
Permeability Testers, IS : 3085, Consists of the following:
  • PPerrmeability Cell-Consists of a metal cylinder with a ledge at the bottom for retaining the specimen, a flange at the top, removable cover plate and a funnel. A rubber or neoprene 0-ring or gasket, seated in matching grooves, between the cell and the cover plate to render the joint water-tight.
  • Water Reservoir-Consists of a length of metal pipe, 50 to 100mm in diameter and about 500 mm long. The reservoir fitted with a graduated side arm gauge-glass, and the necessary fitting and valves for admitting water and compressed air and for drainage, bleeding and connection to the permeability cell.
  • Pressure Lines - Heavy duty armoured rubber hose with end fittings.
  • Complete with glass bottles but without compressor.

ASEW-174 - Blain Air Permeability Apparatus IS :
Blain Air Permeability Apparatus IS : 4031, IS : 5516, ASTM C204, BS:4359 part-2.
Determines fineness of Portland cement in terms of specific surface expressed as total surface area in square centimeters per gram of cement. Consists of: calibrated U-tube manometer, ground glass joint, Brass test cell and plunger, rubber aspirator bulb and perforated disc. wood block for holding test cell during filling. Mounted on finished wood panel with rubber-footed base. The apparatus comprises one each of Permeability Cell, 'U' tube tube manometer with stop cock, perforated metal disc, plunger, Rubber stopper, Rubber tube with rubber bulb.

ASEW-176 - Vicat Needle apparatus, IS : 5513,
One end and a Vicat mould 70 mm in dia at the base, 50 mm at the top and 40 mm high and with a glass base plate. Consistency plunger, initial and final needles in a case.
ASEW-177 - Vicat Needle Apparatus with dash pot.
Similar to ASEW-176,but fitted with dashpot to facilitate the gentle lowering of the needle.

ASEW-178 - Vicat Apparatus, Modified :
Vicat Apparatus, Modified : IS : 2545 (Part-I)
Functions both as a standard Vicat Apparatus and modified Vicat apparatus. It is used for determining the normal consistency of hydraulic cement, gypsum plaster and lime, and the setting time of hydraulic cement, gypsum plaster & gypsum concrete. Supplied complete with a needle,, three plungers and a brass weight.
ASEW-179 - Gillmore Needle apparatus:
Gillmore Needle apparatus: ASTM C-91, C-141, C-266, C-414.
For determining setting time hydraulic cement. The apparatus consists of a base with a vertical shaft and two horizontal arms, the lower arm being adjustable of height.

Supplied complete with one initial needle, one final needle and a glass bade plate.

ASEW-181 - Standard Cone Apparatus IS 2250
ASEW-182 - Flow Table, Manually operated :
Flow Table, Manually operated : IS: 5512. BS: 4551-1, ASTM C230.
The Flow Table consists of a brass table top 250+-2.5 mm dia mounted on a rigid stand. The table top is re-in forced with equally disposed ribs and allowed to drop through 12 mm by a ground and hardened cam. Used in determining consistency of cement mortars.
ASEW-183 - Flow Table, Motorized.
Motorized flow table with 10" (254mm) dia. cast-bronze table/platen and automatic digital counter. Motor stops automatically once pre-set number of drops is achieved. Includes heavy-duty table/platen assembly, standard cast bronze, 2-3/4" top dia. x 2" high x 4" bottom dia. cone mold, motor and counter. Designed to be mounted to concrete mounting block. Pedestal Form and easily create your own mounting block.

Applications include: compression strength and air content tests of cement mortar; flow tests of hydraulic cement mortars; consistency tests of magnesium oxychloride cements; flexural strength test for bond strength or mortar to masonry units. ASTM C87, C109, C110, C185, C230, C243, C348, C593; AASHTO T71, T106, T137 and T152.

Consists of a steel table top 300 mm dia ground and polished with three inscribed annular circles 70, 110 and 190 mm dia arranged by cam action have a free fall of 12.5 mm. Complete with conical mould 65mm dia of larger end, 40 mm dia of narrow end and 90 mm high.
