Our range of Abrasion & Flexural Strength Testing Machine is manufactured and supplied complete with a tray for collection of the material. It consists of set of 12 Nos cast iron spheres or steel spheres (hardened steel balls) approximately 48 mm in diameter, each weighing between 390 - 445 grams.

ASEW-191

• Los Angles abrasion testing machine : 2386 (P-IV),ASTMC131,C535
• Consists of a hollow steel cylinder, close at both ends, having an inside diameter of 700 mm and an inside length of 500mm. The cylinder mounted on a sturdy frame on ball bearings. The opening shall be closed dust-tight with a removable cover bolted in place. A detachable shelf which extends through of the drum catches the abrasive charge and does not allow it to fall on the cover. The drum is rotated at a speed of 30-33 r.p.m by an electric motor through a heavy duty reduction gear.

• Consists of a road wheel having a flat periphery, and about its own axis at a speed of 320 to 325 rev/min. Rubber tyred wheel of 20 cms dia and 5 cms breadth to bear on the stone surface of the road wheel with a total load of 40 kg.

Flexural and Abrasion Tests
ASEW-194

• Tile Flexure Strength Testing machine: IS:654 capacity 200kg. For clay roofing tiles (Mangalore pattern).
• The apparatus consists of two parallel self-aligning cylindrical steel bearers about 40 mm in diameter. The load is applied through a third steel bearer of similar shape placed midway between and parallel to the supports. Bearing rollers can be placed at 250 or 270 mm center distance.
• This is a double lever loading machine and the load is applied by flow of lead shot which automatically stops when the sample breaks. The load is applied at the rate of 45 to 55 kg./minute meter and the accuracy of load indication is+- 2%. Without leads shots.

• Determining the aggregate impact value of coarse aggregate. Consists of a base weighing between 22-30 kg with a lower surface of not less than 30 cms and support columns to form a rigid frame work around quick release trigger mechanism to ensure an effective free fall of the hammer during test. The free fall can be adjusted through 380+-5.0 mm. The hammer is provided with a locking arrangement.
• A metal tup (hammer) weighing 13.5 to 14.0 kg, the lower end of in cylindrical shape, 100 mm in diameter and 5 cm long with a 2 mm chamfer I at the lower edge, and^ case hardened.

• Deval Abrasion Testing machine: IS: 2386 (P-IV) For the determination of resistance of aggregate to wear by abrasion. Two hollow cylinders, closed at one end and provided with tightly fitting covers at the other end.
• The inside diameter of the cylinder 20 cms and 34 cms depth. The cylinder are mounted on a shaft at an angle of 30 degrees with the axis of rotation.
• The shaft rotates at 30-33 r.p.m. through a reduction gear, coupled to a motor. Suitable for operation on 440 volts, three phase, 50 cycles,A.C. Supply.
